Hero Motor Corp has launched two of its flex fuel compatible motorcycles in the country. The HF Deluxe Flex Fuel and the Splendor Plus Flex Fuel. The Splendor Plus Flex Fuel will be priced at Rs. 82,710 and the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel will be priced at Rs. 72,792. Both the bikes have gone through a major overall of parts and the new Flex Fuel compliant variants also get new colorways which is a combination of lime yellow and blue. In terms of parts, the company claims that it has changed over 36 parts which includes

a new fuel pump, a new secondary fuel filter and the ECU has been remapped so that both the bikes can run blended petrol starting from E20 to E85 which is a wide range. With the new components, the company says that these bikes make 7% more power and 3% more torque. The company also claims a reduction in emissions, almost 77% reduction in carbon monoxide. In terms of features, in carbon monoxide.

In terms of features, the Splendor Plus gets the patented i3s idle start stop technology but apart from that, both the bikes get new digi analog instrument cluster finished in chrome, side stand engine cutoff, tubeless tires, 18-inch wheels up front and at the rear. These are alloys and they come sh with jk tire rubber in terms of cycle parts both bikes are identical suspension setup includes a telescopic fork up front and a dual shock unit at the rear in terms of braking they both get drum brakes at the front and at the rear now there is a question that needs to be answered here when e20 petrol was rolled out the government claimed a drop in fuel efficiency by 7% and many people reported

that the drop in fuel efficiency was more than that. Right now Hero claims only 7% more power and 3% more torque along with 77% reduction in carbon monoxide emissions. But no official figures for efficiency has been given. And these two bikes use ethanol blended petrol ranging from E5 to E85 what kind of fuel efficiency figures will they give for reference right now the official website of Eero Motor Corp claims a 70 km per liter fuel efficiency with E20 fuel for both the bikes the conventional petrol using Splendor Plus and the HFuxe. But you let me know in the comments below,

what do you think about these two bikes? What do you think will be the drop in fuel efficiency figures? As always, ride safe, drive safe and follow yuvapatrkaar.
