Among the popular 7-seater cars, some models have increased their sales numbers significantly, while others have not seen year-on-year growth. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, with a significant margin over its competitors, tops the list of top 10 7-seater cars.

The sales of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga have registered a whopping 28% increase, rising from 1,49,757 units in FY24 to 1,90,972 units. Mahindra’s Scorpio is close behind, which is popular among SUV enthusiasts. The combined sales of the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N have increased by 17%, totaling 1,64,842 units.

Maruti's Ertiga is priced between Rs 10.20 lakh and Rs 15.48 lakh in the Indian market. Many people are buying this car because of its low price. This car has been selling well for a long time.

The Mahindra XUV700 has also been popular throughout the year. Its sales increased from 79,398 units to 93,082 units. This reflects a growth rate of 17%, similar to the Scorpio. Meanwhile, Toyota's Innova range, including the Crysta and Hycross models, saw a solid increase of 9%, with a total of 1,07,204 units sold.

The Mahindra XUV700 is available in the market at a price of Rs 16.38 lakh to Rs 30.88 lakh. This car is available in a total of 81 variants. Many people are interested in buying this car because of the various engine options and all the facilities in this car.

Toyota's Innova HiCross is available at a price of Rs 23.29 lakh to Rs 36.38 lakh. There are a total of 10 variants in this car. Many politicians like to buy and use this car. This car now has hybrid options. Due to this, the mileage of this car is good.

Toyota's Fortuner faced a slight decline of 6%, with sales declining to 32,785 cars from 35,063 cars in the previous year. Despite this decline, it comfortably leads the large SUV segment. There are constant speculations about the next-generation Fortuner and its possible hybrid version.

The Toyota Fortuner is priced between Rs 39.92 lakh and Rs 61.50 lakh. This car is used by many politicians and politicians. It is the best-selling full-size SUV in India.

The Kia Carens is slightly ahead, increasing its sales by 2% to 64,609 units. The new edition of the Carens is set to be launched in India soon. On the other hand, the sales of Maruti Suzuki's XL6 are not doing so well; its sales have declined by 18% to 37,111 units.

The Kia Carens is priced between Rs 12.25 lakh and Rs 22.54 lakh in the Indian market. It is one of the best-selling cars. Maruti Suzuki's XL6 is priced between Rs 13.85 lakh and Rs 17.48 lakh.

Mahindra Bolero's sales saw a significant decline, falling 15% to 94,750 units, and was relegated to the fourth spot. Meanwhile, Tata Safari also failed to escape the slump; its sales fell 9% to 20,034 units.

Mahindra Bolero is priced between Rs 11.20 lakh and Rs 12.96 lakh in India. Tata Safari is priced between Rs 18.49 lakh and Rs 32.47 lakh.

Renault's low-cost Triber also faced challenges during the period. Its sales fell 11% to 19,905 units by the end of the year. It is ranked tenth in the list of best-selling seven-seater cars.

The Renault Triber is available in the market at a price range of Rs 7.00 lakh to Rs 10.20 lakh. The car has managed to sell well, but it has not been able to sell well in large numbers.

The data from FY25 reveals that SUVs dominate the Indian automobile market landscape, especially in terms of customer preferences for 7-seater vehicles. Some models have thrived, while others have struggled amid the changing dynamics of this competitive sector. The demand for these cars in India is increasing day by day.
