In fact, on its official social media handle, the company has disclosed giving information about it. That on August 15, the company is going to debut the electric version (THAR.e) of its Thar SUV. And this will be done in Cape Town, South Africa.

Mahindra has also released the teaser of its upcoming concept car. In which it has been introduced with a futuristic look. Although its launch may be delayed. It can completely change the off road segment. And the retro look can be the biggest reason for the popularity of Mahindra Thar. Along with this, there is curiosity to see the success of Thar Electric as well.

According to the information, Mahindra currently has a fully electric SUV named XUV400. Which is currently available in the market. Apart from this, the company is working on new trains BE.05 and BE.07. Due to which Thar Electric can be built on a completely electric platform. And it is also expected to have two electric motors (four wheel drive). Mahindra surprised everyone, the company will debut the Thar Electric on August 15.

Let us tell you that Mahindra Thar is currently being sold with 2.2 liter mHawk diesel engine. Due to which it produces maximum power of 128 hp. Apart from this, a 2.0 liter Amstalian turbo petrol motor has also been given in it. Which generates power of 150 hp. There is also another 1.5 liter diesel engine included. Which gives power of 117hp. And comes with RWD setup. This car is available in the showroom of the company at a starting price of Rs 10.54 lakh.
