Mahindra Thar Earth Edition : The new edition of Mahindra Thar has been launched. Which is Rs 40k more expensive than the previous model. Its starting price is Rs 15.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the exterior and interior of Mahindra Thar Edition have been updated. Both petrol and diesel engines of the SUV will be available. Petrol AT is priced at Rs 16.99 lakh, Diesel MT is priced at Rs 16.15 lakh and Diesel AT is priced at Rs 17.6 lakh.

Design of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition

The special edition of Mahindra Thar comes with many cosmetic updates and new features. It will be available in “Desert Fury” satin matte color. The grill has been updated. Thar branding can be seen on the ORVMs. Many changes have also been made in the interior.

The interior also comes with Desert Fury body color. VIP plates are provided on the dashboard, which makes its design unique. “Thar Branding” has also been given on the seats. “Earth” branding can be seen on the doors. Powertrain

The top spec variant of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition is equipped with a 2 liter turbo petrol engine. Capable of generating 150PS power and 300-200Nm torque. Whereas the 2.2 liter diesel engine is capable of generating 130PS power and 300Nm torque. Along with this, 6 speed manual or 6 speed torque converter automatic transmission is available. The SUV can compete with Maruti Suzuki Jimny in the Indian market.
