How will the feature work?

The company has not yet made any official announcement regarding the Satellite SOS feature in Google Pixel smartphones. According to media reports, users will get this facility under “Safety and Emergency” in the “Settings” section. Through this, in case of emergency, you will be able to send messages without connecting to any mobile or Wi-Fi network. You will also be able to share your location through Google Maps. For this service, Google can ask for personal data like name, phone number along with information of 3 emergency contacts from the users' Google account.

There has been no announcement regarding the launch timeline of the Satellite SOS feature. There has been no update regarding which countries this facility will be launched in.
