Last month, British company Lotus debuted in India with its flagship electric SUV Eletre. The ex-showroom price of this car in India is Rs 2.55 crore. The car has been launched with two motor options. The power outputs of one are 603 bhp and 710 Nm. While the second one has power of 905 BHP and torque of 985 Nm. The range of these two electric cars is 600 km and 490 km respectively.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai Ioniq 5 was showcased in India last year but this car was launched this year. It has been launched by Hyundai as the country's first electric car in 2023. The price of the EV model with advanced retro classic look starts at Rs 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This car has also won the title of ‘Green Car of the Year 2024’.

Tata Nexon EV

Tata Motors has launched a facelifted version of its Nexon SUV in the second half of 2023. At the same time, the company has also introduced the new generation Nexon.ev. The ex-showroom price of Tata Nexon EV car starts from Rs 14.74 lakh.

MG Comet

MG Motor India launched its micro EV Comet in April this year. This is currently the smallest electric car in India. Comet EV prices start at Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Competitors of this car are Tata Tiago.ev and Citroen E-C3.

Citroën E-C3

French automaker Citroen launched the E-C3 in February this year to meet the demand for medium-range electric vehicles. Citroen E-C3 prices start at Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a battery pack of 29.2 kWh. About which Citroen claims that it will give a range of 320 km on full charge.
