The mission will study the dynamics of the weather, the temperature of the Sun, the effect of ultraviolet rays on the Earth and the ozone layer. Scientists believe. That the study of the Sun will also make the weather forecast more accurate. This will help in making such a system, through which information about the storm will be received immediately and alerts can be issued. The Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (SUIT), a key instrument for the Aditya L1 mission, has been developed by the Pune-based Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA).
