Yuva Patrkaar: After the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, the whole world is eagerly waiting for the information coming from India's Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover. India's space agency ISRO is also sharing updates related to the mission from time to time. Meanwhile, the agency has posted another video on X. In this, the rover of Chandrayaan-3 can be seen landing on the surface of the moon.

What's in ISRO's new video?

ISRO's new video has been taken from Vikram Lander's camera. In this, Pragyan Rover can be seen coming out of the lander and walking on the lunar surface after slowly descending on the ramp. ISRO told that this video is after the successful landing of Vikram on the moon on 23 August.

ISRO is continuously sharing videos

Earlier, ISRO also shared a video on 24 August. It explained how the lander imager camera captured the picture of the Moon just before landing on the surface.

In another tweet, ISRO said that all activities are on schedule. All systems are normal. Lander module payloads ILSA, RAMBHA and ChaSTE have started functioning today. Rover mobility operations have begun. ISRO informed that the SHAPE payload on the propulsion module was activated on Sunday.

Creating a new history in the field of space, ISRO on Wednesday successfully soft-landed the 'Lander Module' equipped with Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover on the south pole of the Moon. Thereby, India became the fourth country to achieve this feat and the first country to reach the uncharted South Pole of Earth's only natural satellite.

'Rover is working well'

ISRO chief S Somnath said that the rover is now working well. He said that there are two instruments on the rover and three instruments on the lander. And all of them are turned on one by one. They will basically study the mineralogical composition of the moon, as well as the lunar atmosphere and seismic activities there, he said. The lander and rover, weighing a total of 1,752 kg, are designed to operate in the light of a lunar day to study the lunar atmosphere. However, ISRO officials are not ruling out the possibility of them being active for another lunar day.
