Afghanistan News: There is news of an attack on a local hotel in Khost, Afghanistan on Monday. 3 people have died in this attack while 7 have been injured. According to sources, the airstrike was carried out targeting the hotel.

No one claimed responsibility for attack

It is being told that the fighters of Hafiz Gul Bahadur faction of Pakistani Taliban used to visit this hotel often. In the initial reports, many fighters of the combat group are said to have died. Officials from both sides have confirmed this. However, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

Taliban celebrated its two year anniversary

The attack comes a day after the Taliban celebrated two years of their return to Afghanistan. Since the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan in 2021, more than 1,000 civilians have died in bombings and other violence in the capital Kabul.
