Letitia Ann Tish James was born in New York in 1958. She has 7 siblings. All have studied in Brooklyn only. James then received a law degree from Howard University in Washington.

James started his career as an advocate. He then entered NYC politics as a council member. He later promoted himself as a public advocate. In 2018, James became the State Attorney General of NYC.

On September 21 last year, Letitia filed a lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court against Donald and his family members as well as associates and businesses.

James has made serious allegations against Trump

Letitia James has made serious allegations against Donald Trump in her lawsuit. He said that Trump and the Trump Organization repeatedly and consistently manipulated the value of the properties to get banks to lend money to the Trump Organization on more favorable terms. He further said that in order to meet the terms of the loan and to pay less tax, Trump asked the insurance companies to provide insurance coverage at higher limits and lower premiums than are available to other companies.

James presented lakhs of documents along with about 65 witnesses in support of his allegations. According to them, Donald Trump and his team had presented more than 200 false and misleading property valuations.

Donald Trump may get into trouble

Last week, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump and the Trump Organization defrauded banks, insurers and others while building their real estate empire by overvaluing their assets and falsifying the paperwork used to make deals and secure funding. But his net worth was exaggerated.

The court revoked the business licenses of Donald and his two adult sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. Along with this, he was barred from doing any business in the states. This week Judge Arthur will hear arguments on a possible fine, which could cost the former president about $250 million.
