On 10 January 2022, the construction was handed over to Shree GR Infra Project Limited. The target is to complete it by January 9, 2024. Now the problem of land acquisition in this road project has been solved. Also the district administration pays compensation.

The speed at which the work is going on. Road traffic is likely to start this year. Remember that in the first phase of Araria-Galgaliya road project, about 49 km of four-lane road is being built from Galgaliya to Bahadurganj. The work of this package will be completed for approximately Rs 800.23 crore. In the second package, work is going on to build about 45 km long road from Bahadurganj to Araria. The cost of the four-lane road under construction is approximately Rs 799.14 crore.

Narenpur-Purnia Highway

The construction of 49 km long highway is going on at a cost of Rs 1905 crore. Its construction started on 18 March 2021. Its construction process is in the final stages. With its construction, there will be ease of transportation in Seemanchal area.

Purnia-Narenpur four lane road will bring many more days to Seemanchal

People in Seemanchal are hopeful of completion of Purnia-Narenpur four lane road construction work. The cost of this project is Rs 1324.63 crore. In the Purnia-Narenpur road project, a 43.57 km long four lane will be built, while three ROBs including the 2.03 km long Katihar bypass road will also be built. This is one of the important schemes of Bihar.

After construction of bridge on river Ganga at Manihari-Sahebganj, it will connect Bihar to Jharkhand. The bridge built on Mahananda in Katihar will also connect to West Bengal. Piprakothi-Motihari-Raxaul NH Rs 400 crore is being spent to construct Piprakothi-Motihari-Raxaul fourlane NH-28A and 527D. 68.6 km. The work on this road project started in 2019 and is now in the final stages. With the construction of this road, it will be easier to go to Nepal. North Bihar will connect with Nepal border.

Patna-Gaya-Dobhi NH

The construction of all three packages of about 127 km long Patna-Gaya-Dobhi fourlane NH is expected to be completed by March 2024 at a cost of about Rs 1609 crore. With the construction of this road, it will be easy to go from Patna to Jharkhand.

Benefit of construction of Patna-Gaya Dobhi fourlane road: Due to very slow construction of five railway overbridges (ROB) in this road and many other obstacles, it has taken more time than the stipulated time. This project will be of about 127 km in three packages. Under package one of this road project, two ROBs will be built from Nathupur to Masaurhi in Patna.

The second package should have one ROB in Jehanabad city, while the third package should have two ROBs in Gaya bypass. With the construction of Patna-Gaya-Dobhi highway, vehicles passing through Patna-Bodhgaya and Dobhi will not face the problem of jam. This route will connect Patna-Ara-Buxar Highway to Nathupur, Patna. This route will connect Biharsharif to Bodhgaya. This road will meet the Kolkata-Delhi Golden Quadrilateral Highway at Dobhi.
