Coldest day in Rajasthan
In the last 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in most parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh was 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, while in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar it was 10 to 13 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in Sikar (East Rajasthan) today was 3.8°C.

Tamil Nadu also received heavy rainfall. Light to moderate rain occurred over South Madhya Pradesh, North Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Central Maharashtra, southern Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Kerala. Light rain occurred over East Gujarat, South-Western Madhya Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and Goa. There was light rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep.

IMD warned of dense fog
Dense fog was observed at some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Western Rajasthan and Eastern Madhya Pradesh. Dense fog prevailed in Western Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana, Odisha and Tripura. Dense fog may occur in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha and Tripura.
