Delhi Weather: Cold Crossed all Limits in Delhi, Meteorological Department Gave Alert
Delhi Weather: Looking at the current weather of North India, no relief is expected soon. The Meteorological Department has warned the states of North India (weather news today) of dense to very dense fog for the next five days. Apart from this, cold day to severe cold day conditions are going to prevail over northwest India for the next three days. Due to which there will be severe cold. Some relief will be available in three days. Besides, there is a possibility of cold wave in some states of North India for the next two days.
Hill states like Shimla and Nainital have faced severe cold in Delhi these days. The minimum temperature in Delhi today was 3.9 degrees Celsius. Also, 50 flights were delayed as visibility reached zero at the airport (Delhi weather report). Due to fog, traffic in Delhi (Delhi News) and its adjoining areas has also been affected. And people have also stopped leaving their homes.

The Meteorological Department said that Punjab (weather in punjab), Haryana (weather in haryana), Chandigarh (weather in chandigarh), Delhi (weather in delhi), Rajasthan (weather in rajasthan), Uttar Pradesh (weather in UP), Southern Rajasthan (weather in rajasthan), northern Madhya Pradesh (weather in MP) and Bihar (weather in bihar) have a minimum temperature of three to seven degrees Celsius. Today the lowest temperature in Amritsar, Punjab was 1.4 degrees Celsius.

Talking about the weather of the next five days, there is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe around January 15. Also, there is an alert of snowfall and rain in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir on January 12. A new Western Disturbance is going to start in the Western Himalayan region from January 16. As a result, there will be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on January 16 and 17.

According to the latest update from IMD, due to cold, there will be dense to heavy fog for 12 and 13 days in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and for three days in many areas. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in central and eastern India will fall by two to three degrees Celsius in the next two to three days. Apart from this, there will be cold wave in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on 12 and 13 January. Cold wave warning has been issued in Rajasthan from January 12, Uttar Pradesh from January 12 and Bihar from January 12 to January 14.
