Haryana Electric Buses: These Cities of Haryana Will Get a Big Gift, 50 Electric Buses Will Run
Haryana Electric Buses: The operation of CNG and electric buses has increased rapidly in Gurugram and Faridabad, two big cities of Haryana falling in the NCR region. In the last five years, the number of CNG based low floor city buses on the roads of these two cities has increased from 50 to 200. Gurugram Metropolitan City Bus Limited (GMCBL) was formed in September 2017 to run these buses.
There will be 50 to 50 electric buses
CNG based low floor city buses in Gurugram and Faridabad are not limited to the city only. But also run on the routes connected to the towns of the district and both the cities. Also, both the cities are expected to supply 50 each of MIDI electric buses by the end of this year. Please inform that charging stations will be made to charge these buses.
Charging station will be built in Sector 10
A GMCBL official said that the work of constructing a charging station at Sector-10 bus depot will start soon. Here 62 electric buses can be charged simultaneously. When a bus is fully charged, it will run up to 130 km.

He was told that the tender process to build the charging station would start next week. These MIDI electric buses will be easy to operate in crowded places as they will be slightly smaller in size than normal buses. 500 electric buses of this type will be run across the state.

GMCBL Joint Chief Executive Officer Jitendra Garg said that pollution is a major problem in Faridabad and Gurugram. In such a situation, to overcome this problem, our department runs 200 CNG based low floor buses. At the same time, soon electric buses will also start running in Gurugram, which will reduce the pollution of the city.
150 buses in Gurugram on 25 routes
Jitendra Garg said that GMCBL is operating 150 buses on 25 routes and 50 buses on 12 routes. He told that due to the connectivity of city buses in Gurugram with Millennium City Center Metro Station, IFFCO Chowk and Roadways Bus Stand area, the passengers are getting a lot of facilities.
