In this era of inflation, it becomes very difficult for widowed and divorced women to run the household expenses. Along with the responsibilities of the house, women also have the responsibilities of children, in such a situation, they are looking for one or the other employment. Keeping in view the problems of such women, loans are being provided by the Women's Development Corporation through banks.

Pre-training will be given for related work

Mahila Vikas Nigam is providing loans up to Rs.3 lakh to widowed and divorced women to set up their own employment. Giving information, the spokesperson of the corporation said that such women do not have any means to earn, they always remain dependent on others. The corporation is making every possible effort on its part to make such women self-reliant. Before giving loans to women, prior training will also be given for related work.

Women between the age of 18 to 55 years will be eligible

Development Corporation is giving loans up to Rs 3 lakh to women for work related to tailoring, embroidery, boutique, masala, e-rickshaw, carry bag, bakery, readymade garments, food processing. Along with this, the corporation is also giving pre-training to women. So that he can do his work better. Under this scheme, widows and divorced women whose annual income is less than Rs 3 lakh and age is between 18 and 55 years. Only there women will be eligible under the scheme.

Women will be benefited along with the district

The spokesperson of the corporation said that a target has been set to benefit 60 women in the district under this scheme. He told that 90% of the total amount will be given by the bank, while the remaining 10% will have to be borne by the women themselves. He said that under this scheme, the interest charged on the bank loan will be reimbursed by the corporation in the form of a grant. The maximum amount of grant will be Rs.50,000 and the period will be 3 years whichever is earlier.
