UP Expressway: These 12 Districts Will Change & This Expressway of UP Will Be Completed in 2025

How long does it take from Prayagraj to Meerut?

With the construction of Ganga Expressway, it is claimed to reach Prayagraj from Meerut in just eight hours. However, it is designed for vehicles traveling at speeds up to 120 km/h. The distance from Meerut to Prayagraj will probably be covered in even less time. This expressway will be of six lanes, but if required, it can be expanded to eight lanes.

Major toll plazas will be built in Meerut and Prayagraj. Sometimes there will also be toll plazas to collect toll from vehicles plying on the expressway. In this way a total of twelve ramps will be built. Apart from this, an airstrip will also be built in Shahjahanpur to land helicopters or planes in emergency situations.

Which districts will it cover?

The Ganga Expressway will pass through the following districts: For those running from west to east, it will start from Meerut. Starting from Meerut, it will pass through Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and end in Prayagraj. Ganga Expressway is also being built in twelve phases.
