Weather Alert: At this time, many states of the country are getting cold. But the cold is likely to increase in the coming days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of a drop in temperature and cold wave in central India between January 5 and January 11.
From January 5 to January 11, IMD has predicted a drop in temperature. Due to which there will be a cold wave in some northern states.
These places may fall severe cold
IMD reported that due to decrease in night temperature, there may be a cold wave in some parts of Central India at this time. The day temperature is also expected to be below average. Especially in Madhya Pradesh, Northern Maharashtra, Southern Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan, due to this, there will be increase in cold during the day.

Heavy rain may occur in these places
The IMD has also predicted the rainfall in Ladakh in Ladakh, besides Eastern and West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Hariyana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, in January.

Here the rain is going to be filled in the next three days
Also, IMD has predicted heavy rains and strong winds (40–50 km per hour) in the next three days in Lakshadweep. Therefore, fishermen have been advised not to go into the sea.
Fog will remain in these places
According to the IMD forecasts, some plains of eastern and northwest India are likely to have dense fog. Uttar Pradesh and northern Rajasthan are expected to continue in cold-day to very cold-day.

According to Skymet Weather on 2 January, light to moderate rains may occur in Madhya Pradesh and parts of southern Uttar Pradesh. Which may increase in the next day. Punjab and Haryana, some parts of Uttar Pradesh and some places in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan can see dense fog.
There may be dense fog in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Northeast India. Punjab may have a situation from cold day to seweer cold day. Apart from this, there may also be cold day in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
