UP News: Govt Made a Big Change Regarding Birth Certificate, Now This Work Will Be Done Directly

UP News: 'Mother Newborn Tracking System App', also known as Mantra, will be available to the children born in the hospitals of the state. You will get the birth certificate immediately through this. For this, the app is being linked to the CRS portal. Its use has been started in about one thousand hospitals of the state. This will soon be implemented in all hospitals.

Birth certificates of children born are made only in government hospitals of the state. For this, certificates bearing the signature of the hospital superintendent are issued. Now it is being linked to the digitalized CRS portal. Such children will get the certificate immediately.

The certificate will be digitally signed. This will also be updated immediately on the CRS portal. Health Department Principal Secretary Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma said that the Mantra app is already working. It is being improved. Currently, Asha workers go door-to-door and update family welfare related data through the mother newborn tracking app.

Mantra app has received awards.

Under the e-governance scheme of the Central Government, the State Health Department has given Silver Award to Mantra App. This award has been given in Category-1 under the Digital Transformation Scheme of the Central Government. Information about all delivery facilities is easily available through Mantra app. Also how many deliveries have taken place at which centre.

Through this, the concerned were also taught to handle the birth of a newborn, vaccination and other issues related to birth. As a result, data related to the health of pregnant women has become digital. While admitting a pregnant woman, the staff nurse explains her health condition, treatment and time of admission. This has made it easier to track the baby and mother.
