IPL 2024 Auction: Teams Retained These Players For Next Season & They Were Released, See Full List
IPL 2024 Auction : After the end of the World Cup 2023, cricket fans around the world now have their eyes on the most popular cricket league IPL. Fans are now curious to know when and where the mini auction of players will be held before the start of the upcoming IPL season i.e. IPL 2024.
According to a report by ESPNcricinfo, the player auction ahead of the IPL 2024 season will be held in Dubai on December 19. For the first time, IPL auction is going to be held outside India. Before the auction, all IPL teams will have to submit the list of retained and released players from 15 to 26 December. In such a situation, many teams have started retaining and releasing players.

Each team will have a purse of Rs 100 crore (approximately US$12.02 million), which is Rs 5 crore more than last season's Rs 95 crore, to prepare their squads for the IPL 2024 season. How much does each team have to spend on the day of Mini Auction 2024. This will depend on their unspent purse (money) and the value of released players from the 2023 auction.
