Upcoming Cars : In the festive season that is going to start in India, we are going to tell you about the top upcoming cars to be launched in the month of October. The auto market is set to see even more exciting launches in October.

Citroen C3 Aircross

Introduced in April this year, Citroen has not yet fully officially launched the C3 Aircross. Although the French manufacturer had announced the prices of the base variant of the SUV last month, the prices of other variants of the C3 Aircross are yet to be revealed. Deliveries of the upcoming Hyundai Creta SUV rival C3 Aircross are expected to begin from October 15. Prices for the entire lineup will be announced then.

The C3 Aircross is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Which produces 109 bhp and peak torque of 190 Nm. Initially, this engine will be exclusively paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The company is also working on the automatic variant of this model as well as the EV version.

Nissan Magnite AMT, Kuro Edition

Nissan had teased the Kuro edition of the Magnite a few weeks ago and also confirmed the launch of the AMT gearbox for the subcompact SUV. The Kuro Edition is essentially a sportier-looking version of the Magnite with cosmetic changes including an all-black treatment with red contrasting colors on both the inside and outside of the cabin. The Kuro Edition will be launched on October 7 while the AMT variant of the Magnite will be launched on October 12.

Tata Harrier, Safari facelift

Tata Motors has recently released the teaser of the new facelift version of Harrier and Safari on the company's social media handle. This is the first major update for both the mid-size SUVs since their launch in the market. Apart from the usual cosmetic updates on both the exterior and interior front, the new Harrier and Safari will get some new features and possibly a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine.

Lexus Lm

Based on the new generation Toyota Vellfire, Lexus will launch the new LM luxury MPV in India later this month. It will be offered in two configurations – a 4-seater and a 7-seater. The former offers two airline-style ottoman seats for rear passengers. Powering the LM is a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder self-charging hybrid powertrain. Which gives a maximum output of 250 hp and torque of 239 Nm.

Tata Punch EV

Tata Motors has been testing the all-electric version of Punch for a long time. The Tata Punch EV could be launched during the festive season of 2023, potentially in late October. This electric micro SUV is built on Tata's Generation-2 EV platform. And it is expected to offer two battery pack options and different charging solutions. It will feature a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo at the centre, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which could be a 10.25-inch unit in the mid-level variants. This could be one of the cheapest cars to come with a sunroof in India.
