On March 29, 2023, the Supreme Court issued an order on the application of the Ministry of Cooperatives to resolve the complaints related to the payment of valid deposits to the investors of cooperative societies of Sahara Group. Under this, Sahara-SEBI was asked to transfer five thousand crore rupees from the refund account to the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, after which the online portal has been prepared for the submission of claims by the certified investors. Societies in which investors' money is stuck. They include Sahara Credit Co-operative, Sahara Universal Multipurpose Hamara India Credit Co-operative and Stars Multipurpose.
