Indian tourists will be able to make payment through UPI
PM Modi announced this while talking to the people of the Indian community at an art center in France. He told that soon Indian tourists will be able to pay in rupees using UPI near the Eiffel Tower. Giving further details, he said that an agreement has been signed with France for the use of UPI. Which will start from the Eiffel Tower. In 2022, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), a UPI service provider, has also signed an agreement with France's fast and safe online payment system Lyra.
