First Look Alert : Pooja Entertainment Unveils The Motion Poster of Akshay Kumar Starrer Mission Raniganj
Yuva Patrkaar : Pooja Entertainment is all set to bring to the audiences a rescue thriller 'Mission Raniganj'. The film is inspired by a real life incident in "Raniganj Coalfield". And inspired by the courageous work of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill. Who led the coal rescue mission of Bharat.
Recently the motion poster of this film was released which gives a glimpse of that exciting rescue operation. Which started when miners found themselves trapped beneath a 350 feet deep coal mine. The film stars Akshay Kumar as the central figure, bringing to life the character of Late Jaswant Singh Gill, who saves the miners in a daring rescue operation.
Let us tell you, Jaswant Singh Gill played an important role in rescuing all the surviving miners trapped inside the flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989 as he carried out a successful rescue operation in India despite all the difficulties.

The film stars Akshay Kumar along with Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Anant Mahadevan, Jamil Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt, Omkar Das. Manikpuri will be seen. 'Mission Raniganj' is an epitome of the resilience, determination and bravery of the human spirit and engineering minds. This film is also Tinu Suresh Desai's next thriller after Rustom. Which brought him massive critical and commercial acclaim.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Ajay Kapoor, 'Mission Raniganj' is directed by Tinnu Suresh Desai. This film, based on the coal mine accident that shook the country and the world and the tireless efforts of the rescue team led by Jaswant Singh Gill, will be released in theaters on 6 October 2023.
