Asia Cup 2023 : Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets on Wednesday in the first Super-4 match of Asia Cup-2023. Playing first after winning the toss, Bangladesh team was all out for 193 runs in 38.4 overs at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. In reply, Pakistan achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 39.3 overs.

First step to make it to the finals

With the victory in this match, Pakistan has taken the first step towards making it to the finals. Mushfiqur Rahim contributed 64 and Shakib Al Hasan contributed 53 runs for Bangladesh. Naeem played an inning of 20 runs. Pakistan's Haris Rauf took four and Naseem Shah took three wickets.

Imam-ul-Haq of Pakistan scored 78 and Mohammad Rizwan scored 63 not out. Taskin, Shoriful and Mehdi Hasan took one wicket each for Bangladesh.

Now Pakistan's next match will be played against India on 10 September in Colombo. After this, Pakistan's match will be played against Sri Lanka on 14 September in Colombo. The final match of the Asia Cup will be played on 17th September.
