32 KM Expressway Will Soon Be Built From Delhi To Noida Airport, Road Map Ready
Noida Bypass Expressway: The draft of the design of the new road is expected to be ready soon. There are plans to build a 32 km long new expressway along Yamuna Pushta Road between Sector-94 and Sector-150 near Kalindi Kunj near the Delhi border.
Noida Airport is expected to be inaugurated by the end of this year. IndiGo Airlines will launch its first flight from the airport. In such a situation, keeping in mind the increasing pressure of passengers on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, preparations are being made to prepare an alternative route.
In this regard, Noida Authority has completed the study with Rail India Technical and Economics Service (RITES), NHAI and Irrigation Department to build a new expressway on the banks of Yamuna. This new road will serve as a bypass of Noida Expressway.
The draft of the new road is expected to be ready by January 15.
There are plans to build the beach along Yamuna Pushta Road. Apart from this, there are plans to link it with Yamuna Express near Greater Noida Entry Point. This will provide convenience to the people traveling from Delhi to Noida Airport.
11 km long pushta road was started in June 2014
At present, the only option for people coming from Delhi to travel between Noida and Greater Noida is the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. When traffic pressure increases in the morning and evening, long queues of vehicles form. After the opening of Noida Airport, the pressure of vehicles on the expressway is sure to increase.
In such a situation, people traveling to and from Delhi to Noida airport will benefit from this. Let us tell you that the 11 km long section of Pushta Road was opened to the public in June 2014. However, due to its poor condition, drivers rarely travel on it.
The survey was conducted by the committee on 29 December.

After the meeting held in November last year, a nine-member committee was formed under the leadership of CEO Sanjay Khatri, NHAI, Irrigation Department and RITES officials to prepare the feasibility report. A survey was conducted by this committee on 29 December.
In which the proposed expressway was investigated from different aspects. Sanjay Khatri said while talking to Times of India that NHAI has been asked to submit a report on the requirement of land. So that those parts can be identified which should be elevated.
A report will be prepared by the Irrigation Department on the availability of existing roads and land. It will be designed by RITES and work is being done at estimated cost.
The Civil Department of Noida Authority is considering the possibility of connecting the proposed road with Yamuna Expressway. All these reports are expected to be received by next week.
After this, the compiled report will be presented before the NHAI Chairman by mid-January. According to the information given by the officials, the new route will increase connectivity to Sectors 128, 135, 150, 151 and 168 as well as other residential sectors including Greater Noida.
