Administration Takes Strict Action Against Polluters, Fine of Rs 5 Lakh 73k Collected, Campaign Will Continue

 

Gwalior News : The increasing pollution in Delhi has also alarmed the Gwalior district administration. Due to its proximity to Delhi, Gwalior is also affected by the weather, hence the district administration and municipal corporation administration have started taking strict action against those who spread pollution. Today, the joint team of the administration has collected a fine of Rs 5 lakh 73 thousand from the polluters. Collector and Corporation Commissioner say that this action will continue.

Gwalior's air quality index i.e. AQI is also going above the standard level. If we look at the AQI of 8th November today, the value of online AQI on mobile is 151 i.e. it is above the standard level. Therefore, to control the increasing pollution in the city, major action was taken at various places across the city under the joint aegis of the District Administration, Pollution Board and Municipal Corporation. In which today Collector Akshay Kumar Singh and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harsh Singh visited various places and took action against those who spread pollution.

Big fine action against builders

M.P. Under the leadership of Municipal Corporation in coordination with Pollution Control Board, Transport Department, Traffic Police, traffic improvement work, removal of dust from roads and water fogging work have been started continuously. And by taking action to ban the emission of construction and destructive materials from multi-storey buildings under construction, a fine of Rs 1,00,000/- has been imposed on building owner Rajendra Sacheti, Neutric Construction by the Collector, District Gwalior and Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gwalior. A fine of Rs 75,000/- was imposed on Resham Gulab Chandra, Ohadpur Road and Rs 50,000/- on Dr. Shailendra Singh, Jalalpur Road.

Dismantle work of police station building stopped

Similarly, instructions have been given to the concerned to stop the construction work of Multilevel Parking Maharaj Bada and make proper arrangements and manage dust at the airport. Also, the dismantling work of the old police station Janakganj was stopped. In today's proceedings, a fine of approximately Rs 4,92,000/- has been imposed by the Municipal Corporation and the buildings have been covered with green net.

Fine action was also taken against those who burn garbage

Municipal Corporation Gwalior, under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Amar Satya Gupta, took action to control pollution by running campaigns at various places in the city. In which about 87 receipts were issued to those who burn garbage and spread pollution in other ways and a fine of Rs 43,000/- was imposed. Along with this, the pollution checking camp organized by the Pollution Control Board in collaboration with the police department in Phulbagh area, after checking the vehicles, imposed a fine of about Rs 38000/- on the vehicles causing pollution.
