Delhi NCR Metro Line: The metro will run from Sector-142 to Sector-38A Botanical Garden. The detailed project report (DPR) is expected to be made next month.

Officials said that after receiving the DPR from DMRC, the Noida-Greater Noida Authority will place it in the concerned board. After getting approval from there, it will be presented in the board meeting of NMRC. After this it will be sent to the govt for approval. After the decision, the file will be sent to the Central govt for approval.

This will expand the Aqua Line. People traveling from Noida-Delhi to Greater Noida will get more convenience by running metro on this line. Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) currently runs the Aqua Line. The metro starts from Sector-51 and goes till Greater Noida Depot.

NMRC Managing Director Dr. DMRC is working on preparing the DPR of the metro line from Sector-142 to Botanical Garden.

DMRC will soon get Rs 20 lakh for DPR. Necessary processes will be expedited as soon as the complete report is received.

Rs 1800 crore will be spent

The estimated cost of the metro line will be around Rs 1,800 crore. The central govt will provide 20% and the state govt will provide 20% funds. Noida-Greater Noida Authority will bear half the money.

It will cost approximately Rs 20 crore to build a station. The metro station will be in Sector-44, but will be built on Sector Road near Botanical Garden Expressway.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is preparing the DPR. This line will increase the metro network in Noida.

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NRC) will soon give Rs 20 lakh to NRCC for preparing DPR. According to official sources, DMRC has not been able to submit the DPR yet due to paucity of funds.

DMRC had prepared the survey report about five months ago. The entire route plan has been shared verbally with NMRC officials. Only written DPR is yet to be received.

Officials said that about eight stations will be built on this line. The metro station will be built in front of the new administrative office of Noida Authority in Sector-9.
