Delhi Weather Today: There has been heavy rain in many parts of South India in the last few days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of light to heavy rainfall over South Peninsular India between November 5 and November 12.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at many places over Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and heavy rainfall occurred at many places over Rayalaseema. Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation has formed in and around North Tamil Nadu. Light/moderate to widespread rainfall is likely over South Peninsular India during the next five days. And after that it will decrease.
IMDI said that there will be rain in Kerala-Mahe from 5 to 9 October; in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till October 8; And on November 6 in Rayalaseema and South Karnataka.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the next seven days. Meanwhile, a new Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayas from the night of November 7.
Due to this, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad between 7 and 9 November. There is a possibility of similar weather in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 8th and 9th November. In the current weather, light to moderate rain with some heavy rain may occur over parts of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu.
Light rain may occur over south coast of Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Light rain may occur in South Chhattisgarh, Goa, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. There will be no improvement in the air quality index in Delhi and NCR. This will be serious. The weather will not change in the rest of the states.
