Government of Haryana has planned to operate electric buses in nine cities. It is planned to provide 50 electric buses in each city. The Transport Department said that if everything goes well, electric buses will start running in Yamunanagar and Panipat from January 1. Later, buses will also be started in Rewari, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Ambala, Sonipat and Kurukshetra.
