Good News For These 2 Districts of UP, New Railway Line Will Be Built
Railway Line: There is no train facility yet to travel between the two major districts of UP, Kasganj and Etah. Along with both the districts, the surrounding people were also demanding a railway line on this route for a long time. Now their demands are about to be fulfilled. And soon trains will start running between the two districts. Railway extension between Etah and Kasganj (Etah Kasganj Railway Line) has been approved. After the start of the train facility, the distance between the two districts will also be reduced by 12 km. Currently one has to cover a distance of 41 km by road.
The North Eastern Railway Division has confirmed the expansion of the railway line between Etah-Kasganj. The Central Government has also released funds in the budget for this 29 km long railway line. Local social organizations organized agitations and demonstrations for the railway expansion and now the work is expected to start soon.

Railway tracks will be laid soon
With the preparation of DPR for the expansion of Etah-Kasganj railway line, further processes have now started. And the work of laying the railway track will start in the coming days. After the expansion of this railway line, train connectivity in Etah will improve and after connecting to Kasganj, the operation of trains will increase, also the railway station of Etah can be converted into a junction.
At present only one passenger train runs here - Agra-Etah-Tundla. Apart from this, only goods trains pass through. Local people face a lot of problems due to non-operation of long distance trains. And to catch the train one has to go to Agra or other stations.
