Govt Gave a Big Gift To People of UP 2 New Expressways Will Be Built in The State
UP 2 New Expressway: On Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the status of expressway construction in the state and ordered to prepare an action plan to build two new expressways. In the special meeting, the Chief Minister also ordered to make a proposal to connect Farrukhabad with Ganga Expressway.
The Chief Minister said that a link expressway should connect Purvanchal Expressway and Agra-Lucknow Expressway. This being one project, all the expressways will be available. CM Yogi has demanded the government to prepare and present a comprehensive action plan for the 60 km link expressway.
Ganga Expressway will be ready
Necessary land has been acquired for Ganga Expressway to connect Meerut to Prayagraj. Its operations will start from November 2022. The government aims to make expressways publicly available in every state by December 2024. So that people can travel on Ganga Expressway in Kumbh 2025.
14 km long Chitrakoot Link Expressway
The Chief Minister demanded to speed up the process of making Bundelkhand Expressway a solar expressway. Similarly, he directed to plant trees on the northern slope of the Purvanchal Expressway, while constructing solar power projects on its southern slope. The Chief Minister also said that funds have been given for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway. As per preliminary study, the 04-lane (06-lane) Chitrakoot Link Expressway will be approximately 14 km long. CM Yogi said that the developer should be selected as soon as possible.
Industrial corridors will be built along the expressway
Industrial areas will develop rapidly on both sides of Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Ganga, Agra-Lucknow and Gorakhpur Link Express. 11 industrial corridors will be built on Ganga Expressway, 06 in Bundelkhand, 05 in Agra-Lucknow, 06 in Purvanchal and 02 on Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
