The Sonipat unit of NHAI is building a 64 km long highway from Jasaurkhedi in Jhajjar to Siwanamal in Gohana. It is intended to be completed by March 2024.

The route will pass through Gohana sub-division.

Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway will pass through Gohana subdivision. Kundli-Palwal-Manesar highway will start in Jhajjar. Then it will pass through Rohtak, Sonipat, Jind and Kaithal and reach Punjab, from where it will reach Katra in Jammu. From Sonipat the expressway will reach Kharkhoda and go through Gohana to Jind.

The route starts from Rukhi village of Gohana and goes to Siwanmal village, 26.8 km away. Entry and exit of vehicles will be controlled at two places on Gohana Expressway. Village Rukhi will get this facility from Panipat-Rohtak Highway and Jind-Gohana Green Field Highway.

Construction of Jind-Sonipat Greenfield Highway at final stage

Not only this, Jind-Sonipat Greenfield Highway is also in its final stages. Officials say. That the project will be completed in four months. With the construction of Greenfield Highway, one can go from Jind to Sonipat in one hour. From Gohana one can reach Sonipat in half an hour and Delhi in one and a half hour. With the completion of both the projects, Gohana residents will get faster connectivity to Delhi, Punjab and Jammu. Industrialists from Delhi will also be willing to invest in Gohana.
