Of these, the main highway will be 570 km long, the greenfield highway will be 397.712 km long from Nilothi to Gurdaspur, and the brownfield highway will be 122.288 km long from Gurdaspur to Katra.

The distance from Nakodar to Amritsar will be 99 km. It will be easy to go from Delhi via Katra Expressway. People who visit Mata Vaishno Devi will benefit from this.

Ambulance, fire brigade, trauma center and traffic police teams will remain on the expressway 24 hours to provide emergency assistance. Three such facility centers are being built in Sonipat. The first will be near Rukhi, the second will be in Nurankheda and the third will be in Chhawadi village.
