Haryana News: Due to increase in temperature in Haryana for the last few days, people had to bear the humid heat. Due to the heavy rains on Saturday, some districts of the state have definitely got relief from the heat. It rained in about 8 districts of the state on Saturday, out of which Gurugram district recorded maximum rainfall of 20 mm in 1 hour. Apart from this, light rain was seen in other districts.

The rain on Saturday gave relief to the people from the heat.

If the weather experts are to be believed, similar weather is likely to prevail in the state on Sunday as well. There are chances of change and light drizzle on Sunday as well. On Saturday, apart from Gurugram, Rohtak, Bhiwani and Mahendragarh received 3.0 mm of rain and Karnal, Hisar, Sonepat received 1.5 mm of rain. Due to the drizzle on Saturday, people got rid of the humid heat. A rain alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in 40 cities.

Rain alert issued in these districts

Weather experts have issued rain warnings in 6 cities of Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa, Ratia, Adampur and Nathusari Chowpata. While 40 cities including Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Kanina, Sohna, Gurugram, Rewari, Bhiwani, Narnaund, Hansi, Faridabad, Kaithal, Narwana, Rania and Rohtak have expressed the possibility of rain in many other cities. This time there has been very less rainfall in the month of August as compared to last year. If we look at the figures of rainfall in the last 7 days, then this time about 72% rainfall has decreased.

Winds will change from August 19

According to weather experts, there is a possibility of a change in the direction of winds from August 19 due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. Winds will move from west to east due to which light to moderate rains are expected in some districts till August 22. Due to less rain, the temperature crossed 39 degrees, due to which people are facing humid heat. People have got some relief from the heat due to the rain on Saturday.
