Bhiwani, Haryana Weather Today :- The weather is pleasant in Haryana today. Monsoon seems to be active once again. Yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in 4 districts of Haryana. At the same time, a total of 1.5 mm of rain has been recorded in the state in 24 hours. The monsoon was more active in the months of June and July as compared to the month of August. The monsoon rains had stopped in August. According to the Meteorological Department, it normally rains up to 108 mm in the month of August.
Electricity consumption increased due to less rain
Right now, only 40.8 mm of rain has been seen this month from August 1 to 22. That means, for normal rains, there should be 62 mm more rain. The Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert in four districts of Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra of Haryana. Talking about the entire monsoon, till now there has been 358.6 rains. But still the quota of 78 percent rain is yet to be met. On the other hand, talking about rain in Haryana during the monsoon season, it receives 460 mm of rain. There has been an increase in power consumption due to less rain in August.

By August 22, the demand for electricity in Haryana has reached 30.13 crore units. Due to less rain in the month of August, the humidity is troubling the people a lot. In addition, the temperature has increased. The minimum temperature has increased by 0.6 degree. Which is 2.4 degree Celsius more than normal. In many districts there is no wind even at night. Due to which the temperature is increasing continuously. According to the Meteorological Department, due to less rain in the month of August, the heat will be more intense. The temperature will be between 23 degree Celsius to 34 degree Celsius. Usually in Haryana, it rains for 15 to 20 days in August. But this time less rain has been seen.
