IMD Weather Forecast: These days the heat wave is at its peak in North India. The temperature is gradually increasing. Due to which normal life is being affected. However, the Meteorological Department has recently shared a good news. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the states of North-East India for the next five days i.e. till April 4.

Along with this, rain has also been expected in the hilly states of North India. On the other hand, heatwave warning has also been issued in the states of Central India. Due to which caution is needed.

Hail has fallen in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Madhya Pradesh in the last 24 hours. Light to moderate rain was seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh. There are reports of light to moderate rain in many other parts of the country also. This rain has provided relief from the heat to some extent. Heat wave was experienced at night in East Madhya Pradesh and Central Maharashtra, causing some discomfort to local residents.

According to the Meteorological Department, changes in weather are expected in the western Himalayan region in the coming days. Due to two new western disturbances, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. Rain warning has also been issued in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Due to which people need to be prepared.

Relief rain in Northeast India

There is a possibility of moderate rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim between March 31 and April 4.
