In Phase-1, 59 metro stations were built on three metro corridors, which are 64.75 km long. Also, 46 new metro stations are being built on three metro corridors (65.19 km) in Phase-4. Out of the three corridors of Phase-4, two are being built by removing the already running Magenta and Pink Lines. While an entirely new corridor is being built as the Silver Line. With the expansion of the Pink Line, a complete metro ring like a ring road will be built for the first time in Delhi. At the same time, after the expansion, the Magenta Line will become the second longest line of the metro, leaving behind the Blue Line. The Silver Line will also facilitate access to the airport.

In this phase, Delhiites will also get to see the two-decker section of the metro for the first time. This section will carry the metro on a single structure at the top, with a flyover below it and the main road at the bottom. The Metro will once again pass through the dense areas of Old Delhi like Sadar Bazaar, Nabi Karim and Pul Bangash through the Magenta Line. Also, the fifth metro bridge is being built on Yamuna. From this bridge the Pink Line Metro goes from North Delhi to North-East Delhi. Of the 46 new metro stations, 18 will be underground, while the others will be elevated. With 11 new interchange stations, it will be easy to go from one corner to the other. The second triple interchange station of Azadpur Metro network will be Kashmere Gate (Red, Yellow and Violet Line). Three different lines (Yellow, Pink and Magenta) will be available at this station.

179 lifts and 323 escalators are also being installed at the new metro stations of Phase-4. This time new heavy duty lifts equipped with modern facilities are being installed. In which 20 passengers can come together. These lifts have been made indigenously. For the first time, the lift will also have CCTV cameras for the safety of passengers. Driverless metro will also run on Phase-3 and Phase-4 lines. Also, this time all underground stations will have full height platform screen doors like the Airport Line, while all stations on the elevated lines will have half height platform screen doors. At present, digging work is going on with two tunnel boring machines each on Magenta and Pink Line. Who will construct the underground section. The use of modern equipment during tunnel construction does not harm the buildings built on the surface due to vibration.
