Meerut Ring Road: This Ring Road in Meerut Will Make Travel Easier, Will Provide Relief From Traffic, Know Here Which Areas Will Benefit
Meerut Ring Road: After connecting Vedvyaspuri with Shatabdinagar in Meerut district, a new ring road will be built. This ring road will take shape from Dehradun Bypass inside Vedvyaspuri, crossing Delhi Road, from Shatabdi Nagar, in front of Panchvati Enclave to Gagol Road. All types of vehicles will benefit from this.
Whenever there is a traffic or any diversion on some part of Partapur Railway Overbridge or bypass, this new ring road will be used more.
68 meter wide road of Vedvyaspuri
Meerut Development Authority (MEDA) will build a 1100 meter long road from opposite the entrance of Shatabdinagar to Vedvyaspuri Township via Dewan Rubber Mill. The 68 meter wide road of Vedvyaspuri is already connected to Dehradun bypass. Whereas in Shatabdi Nagar, there is already a divider road from Delhi Road to Gagol Road via Police Post and Panchvati Enclave.

Ring road as soon as 1100 meter road is built
Therefore, the ring road will take shape as soon as the 1100 meter road is built. After which the vehicles on Gagol Road will not need to go till the interchange of Delhi-Meerut Expressway to go to Dehradun Bypass. Such vehicles will pass through this new ring road.

Meerut Development Authority's proposal
Meerut Development Authority (MEDA) will put the proposal for approval of funds to build this road in the upcoming board meeting. The construction of this road is estimated to cost around Rs 38 crore including compensation. Talks will start soon to purchase land from farmers.
