With this, Delhi-Meerut Expressway will be connected to GT Road and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. New entry and exit routes will also be made in Lalkuan.

The meeting of Meerut division officials was held under the chairmanship of NHAI Chairman Santosh Yadav. During this, the Chairman said that the district administration, bodies and authorities should approve the files on time to overcome the problem of traffic and to complete the direct connectivity rapidly. The Chairman said that there is a traffic on NH-9 along the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. For this, additional entry and exit routes will be built near Lalkuan in Ghaziabad.

So that vehicles coming from Delhi can exit at Lalkuan and vehicles coming from Ghaziabad towards Delhi can board the lane of Lalkuan Expressway. The approved cost of their construction is approximately Rs 9 crore. The work will start as soon as it gets approval from the International Appraisal Committee. This will directly connect the Delhi-Meerut Expressway to GT Road, which is National Highway 91.

Work will start in three months: Connecting the Eastern Peripheral Expressway with Yamuna Expressway was also discussed in the meeting. At that time it was said that this work was pending for a long time. Compensation will be distributed immediately. Yamuna Industrial Development Authority officials said that 64 percent money has been given to ADM Noida. Which will be distributed as compensation to the farmers. The work will start as soon as the employees are paid. NHAI will bear the construction expenses.

Request to connect Mohiuddinpur to Kharkhoda: Work on the fifth phase of Meerut Expressway started immediately. NHAI Chairman said that there is no problem in the area.
