Rajasthan Weather Update: Due to the departure of western disturbance and less moisture in the atmosphere, the weather of Rajasthan has changed once again. Due to increase in temperature in Western Rajasthan, heat is being felt. On Thursday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees in Barmer, 38.4 degrees in Jaisalmer and 33.7 degrees in Karauli in East Rajasthan. Jaipur will be partly cloudy on March 24 and such weather is likely to continue till March 27.

Effect of heat and heatwave from 22 to 24 March

According to Rajasthan Meteorological Department, currently till 22-24 March the weather will remain dry and the sky will be clear and the temperature will also increase. The maximum temperature is expected to drop by 2 degrees Celsius in the next 24 hours. After this the temperature will increase by 2 to 4 Celsius. Yellow alert has been issued regarding heat wave in many areas on 23-24 March. Bikaner, Jalore, Barmer, Phalodi, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer may record temperatures of 40 degrees or more in the coming days.

According to the Rajasthan Meteorological Department, the weather will change again after March 24-25. Many districts of the state including Shekhawati, Jaipur may be partly cloudy on March 24, 25, 26. During this period, the maximum temperature can be 37 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 20 degrees. There is a possibility of light rain and drizzle with thunder in North-Western Rajasthan on 26 and 27 March. There will be chances of less than normal rainfall between March 29 and April 4. The maximum temperature is likely to be 1 to 2 degrees above normal.
