An NCRTC official said that the first route of the rapid rail was from Kapashera in Delhi to Atul Kataria Chowk on Old Delhi Road and from Maharana Pratap Chowk to Signature Tower, but now this route has been changed. NH-48 will now be the new route of rapid rail. Earlier there was a plan to build a casting yard on Old Delhi Road, but now the Rapid Rail will not run on this route.
