Rapid Rail Will run From Ghaziabad To Noida Airport Via Greno West, Know Every Detail From Route To Timing
Noida Airport: Noida International Airport will be given rapid rail connectivity to Ghaziabad. From Ghaziabad, the rapid rail will reach Noida International Airport via Greater Noida West, Parichowk.
The feasibility report of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) was approved in the meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary DS Mishra. Along with this, instructions have been given to prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR).
The route will be 72 KM long
Possibilities have been expressed. That by 2031, rapid rail will start running on this route. Approximately Rs 16 thousand crore will be spent on this project. The total length of the route will be 72.26 km. An elevated corridor will be built on the route.

Connectivity will increase from Jewar Airport
The country's largest airport is being constructed in Jewar. Its first phase will be completed in 2024. Passenger services will start at the airport from October 2024. The focus is on connectivity projects for the movement of passengers to the airport.
A feasibility report was prepared from NCRTC for connectivity to Noida Airport through Rapid Rail. Out of the three options, Ghaziabad to Noida airport has been chosen for connectivity. With the increase in the number of passengers on this route, the sectors of Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority will also get connectivity.
This will be the route
The route of rapid rail which has been approved. It will start from Ghaziabad, go through Greater Noida West, Greater Noida East and connect with Aqua Line Metro at Parichowk.
Further, via Surajpur Kasna Road, it will reach Noida Airport parallel to the expressway in Yamuna Authority area via Kasna, Ecotech 6, Dankaur.

These will be the stations
Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad South, Greater Noida West Sector 4, Sector 2, Knowledge Park 5, Surajpur, Parichowk, Ecotech 6, Dankaur, Yamuna Authority Sector 18, Sector 20, 21, Noida International Airport. On this route, a depot has been proposed in Ecotech 6 and Sector 21 in Yamuna Authority area. However, the number of stations in the DPR may change.

Initially 11 stations have been proposed on the route.
9798.1 crore cost from Ghaziabad to Ecotech six
The route has been proposed in two phases. The first phase will be from Ghaziabad to Ecotech 6. The length of this route will be 37.15 km. This route will be completed by 2030. Its construction is estimated to cost Rs 9798.1 crore.
The second phase will be from Ecotech 6 to Noida International Airport. Its length is 35.11 km and cost is estimated at Rs 6391 crore.

Twenty percent central and fifty percent state government will spend
Of the total cost of the first phase of the project, Rs 1804 crore will be raised by the Central Government, Rs 2581 crore by the State Government and Rs 5413 crore by the authorities from their own sources. The state government will raise Rs 3135 crore and the authorities will raise Rs 3256 crore for the construction of the second phase.

Estimate of 267670 passengers per day in 2031
Rapid Rail is estimated to receive 267670 passengers per day in 2031. It is estimated that 192714 passengers will be received daily from Ghaziabad to Ecotech 6 and 74956 passengers will be received between Ecotech 6 and the airport every day.
For this, it has been suggested to run a train of six coaches on the track. It has also been suggested to keep the train frequency at nine minutes initially and reduce it to four minutes by 2055.

IGI Airport will be connected to Ghaziabad via Sarai Kale Khan
It will also be connected to IGI Airport through rapid rail connectivity between Ghaziabad and Noida International Airport. Ghaziabad will be connected to IGI via Saraikale Khan.

IGI to Noida Airport- 79 minutes
Sarai Kale Khan to Noida Airport- 69 minutes
Ghaziabad to Noida Airport- 50 minutes
Meerut to Noida Airport- 85 minutes

100 e bus service will start
Hundred e-buses will also be run to connect Noida Airport to Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida. 31 buses will operate in the first phase. These buses will be provided by NCRTC.
The operating costs will be borne by the authority. The bus service will operate between Noida Airport to Noida Sector 51, Airport to Parichowk, Airport to Greater Noida West via Ghaziabad. Its final route will be decided by the authority officials.
