Section 144 imposed in Gurugram, Haryana, Decision on Close of Schools Soon

Gurugram News : Pollution levels are increasing with time. Many factors like increasing population, increasing number of vehicles, large scale industrialization etc. are playing an important role in increasing pollution. Now Diwali has also arrived. In such situations, people burn more firecrackers. Due to which the pollution level increases. The government is making continuous efforts to reduce the pollution level. According to the report from the Pollution Control Board on Friday, the situation has worsened due to increase in pollution in many districts of the state.
Air pollution level is continuously increasing in the state
Pollution in Haryana crossed 491 on Friday. According to the data released by the Pollution Control Board, AQI ranged between 433 to 491 in Jind, Hisar, Sonipat, Rohtak and Faridabad. The increasing levels of air pollution have caused respiratory problems among people. In view of the continuously increasing pollution, Gurugram DC Nishant Kumar Yadav has imposed Section 144 in the district. People have also been banned from burning garbage in the open.

Due to increase in AQI, Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gurjar talked to the officials in Faridabad and on closing the schools, he said that he will act only on the advice of experts. On Friday, AQI in Sonipat was 465 at 10:00 am and 455 at 4:00 pm. On Friday, the smog in the sky increased so much that even the sunlight became dim. The highest AQI level in the state was recorded at 491 in Faridabad, while the average AQI was recorded at 455 in Sonipat, 447 in Jind and 432 in Fatehabad.

AQI level will not reduce till Diwali
As the festive season is approaching. Anyway, the pollution level is increasing. Estimates are being made. That the AQI level will not reduce before the Diwali festival. Apart from this, people are burning the garbage in the open after cleaning their houses. Farmers are also burning stubble in their fields in large numbers. Due to which the pollution level increased significantly. Pollution has increased so much. That people have to come out of their homes wearing masks.
