UP Express Way: CM Yogi Adityanath reviewed highways and ordered construction of two new highways in Uttar Pradesh. In a special meeting on Friday, the Chief Minister also ordered to make a proposal to connect Farrukhabad with Ganga Expressway.

He said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, Uttar Pradesh has got the status of Expressway State in six and a half years. After Purvanchal and Bundelkhand Expressway, Ganga Expressway, Ballia Link and Gorakhpur Link Expressway are being built. He directed to complete the ongoing security works on Bundelkhand Expressway on time, which will improve the quality of travel.

The Chief Minister said that a link expressway should connect Purvanchal Expressway and Agra-Lucknow Expressway. This being one project, all the expressways will be available. He was asked to prepare and present a comprehensive action plan for this approximately 60 km long link expressway. The Chief Minister demanded to speed up the process of making Bundelkhand Expressway a solar expressway. Similarly, he directed to plant trees on the northern slope of the Purvanchal Expressway, while constructing solar power projects on its southern slope.
