UP Expressway: A new highway is going to be built in the country. Which will benefit the people of Bihar. A lot has come to light about the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Express. It will be made in seven packages.

Expressways connecting different parts of Bihar will be built in five packages. The expressway, which will be 610 km long, will cost around Rs 28,500 crore.

Five km of Bihar will also be included. The 27 km long road will be built in the first phase at a cost of Rs 994.3 crore. In the second proposal, a 27 km long road will be constructed for Rs 851 crore.

Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Greenfield six-lane expressway will start from Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. It will come from Barhuli village of Chandauli in Bihar.

The route will enter Jharkhand via Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya. The highway will reach West Bengal via Chatra, Hazirabagh, Ramgarh, Peterbar and Bokaro. Highway 19, passing through Purulia, Bankura and Arambag in Bengal, will end at Uluberia.

The route will pass through four states, 159 km of which will pass through Bihar. 136.7 km area has been earmarked for this Bihar-Bihar six-lane expressway. Also, one manufacturing companies have been selected to make five packages in Bihar.

Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Express will start from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Later it will cross four districts of Bihar and reach Jharkhand. The route will pass through five districts and reach West Bengal. The expressway will also connect to National Highway 19 via four districts of Bengal. Its length will be 187 km in Jharkhand, while the longest in West Bengal will be 242 km.

Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Express will cost Rs 28,500 crore. The first package will start from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and extend till Bihar. which will be approximately 22 km
