There is good news for the passengers going from Rewari to Chandigarh. That Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh has passed the proposal to extend Vande Bharat train to Chandigarh. It will take only three hours to reach Chandigarh from Rewari. From April 12, the Vande Bharat train running between Delhi and Ajmer was already stopped here. Due to which the passengers were very disappointed.

After efforts made by Rao Inderjit Singh, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has approved the stoppage of Vande Bharat train at Rewari. Considering the convenience of the passengers, Rao Inderjit Singh demanded from the Railway Board to extend the Vande Bharat train from Rewari to Chandigarh, which was approved by the Railway Board.

Passengers will save time as Vande Bharat train will run from Rewari to Chandigarh. Commuters from Gurugram and Rewari have been demanding direct connectivity to Chandigarh for some time. Considering the demand of passengers, Indian Railways has taken this decision. Earlier it used to take 5 to 7 hours for passengers to reach Chandigarh, but now it will take only 3 hours.
