Union Minister Annapurna Devi, Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, local MLA Kedar Hazra and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi are likely to attend the inauguration ceremony in Giridih.

This train will pass through four tunnels

Raj told that the train will leave from there at 2 pm and will reach Ranchi at 9.30 pm. The official said the Intercity Express will run on the Barkakana-Murree-Tatisilwai route for a fixed period instead of its scheduled Barkakana-Mesra-Tatisilwai route.
