There are chances of rain in these places

A low pressure area has formed over the East Central Arabian Sea off the north coast of Karnataka, South Konkan and Goa. This pressure area may move slowly in west-northwest direction during the next 24 hours.

Due to the cyclonic circulation over Myanmar and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal, a low pressure area has also formed over East Central Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move westwards over North Odisha and West Bengal coast.

If we talk about the weather of the last 24 hours in the country, Andaman and Nicobar Islands received moderate to heavy rains. Light to moderate rain occurred over Goa, Coastal Maharashtra and South Central Maharashtra with some heavy falls.

Light to moderate rain occurred over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Light rain occurred in Western Rajasthan, South-East, Uttar Pradesh, Ganga coastal areas, West Bengal, Odisha and Nagaland.

According to private weather agency Skymet, light rain is possible in Uttar Pradesh, Sikkim, East Madhya Pradesh and interior Tamil Nadu today. Light to moderate rain is possible over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, parts of Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada, parts of Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Light to moderate rain with some heavy rains is possible over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, parts of Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Konkan and Goa and parts of Madhya Maharashtra.
