Yellow Alert Haryana: The weather will continue to change in the state till September. Thunderstorm and strong winds may occur in northern and southern districts of Haryana on 17 September. There may be light rain in western districts.

There was 184% more rainfall in the last seven days. The second city is called Gurugram. There was 24% more rainfall than normal.

Warning has been issued in some areas of Haryana. These areas include Panchkula, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Mewat, Palwal, Faridabad, Rohtak, Sonipat and Panipat districts.

It rained heavily at three places yesterday. The highest rainfall occurred in Ambala, where 24 mm rainfall was measured from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Kurukshetra received 12.5 mm rainfall and Sirsa received 2.0 mm rainfall.

During the rain, there was a thunderstorm and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. Rain and wind helped make the day cooler.

Twenty one areas of Haryana are facing the problem of drought. Because there has not been enough rain. The situation is very bad in Bhiwani, Charkhi, Dadri, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal and Sirsa.
