YuvaPatrkaar : Lucknow ,The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is working on a plan to upgrade schools located near interstate and international routes and multipurpose hubs. Under this, schools located near the multipurpose hub as well as schools located on the main roads of the Indo-Nepal border will also be upgraded.

A total of 16 such schools are proposed to be upgraded. Which has got the approval of CM Yogi. It is noteworthy that CM Yogi has given his consent in the review meeting of the Basic Education Department after seeing the action plan prepared for several proposals of the department. To implement this proposal, the Basic Education Department has proposed a budget of about Rs 8.5 crore. In the same meeting, CM Yogi had given instructions to start Chief Minister Model Composite Schools with modern facilities in 57 districts.

Students will get smart facilities

Under this proposal placed before the Chief Minister by the Basic Education Department, there is a plan to upgrade a total of 9 schools on the interstate route. An expenditure of Rs 3.71 crore is expected on this. Similarly, it is proposed to upgrade 7 schools located on the international route (Indo-Nepal border). The government will spend Rs 4.73 crore on this. These schools will be upgraded in such a way that students can get educational material in a smart manner. In these schools, one can avail the benefits of facilities like language lab along with computer lab, smart class, modular science lab, robotics and machine learning labs, WiFi enabled campus. Apart from this, security personnel and sanitation workers will be deployed for 24-hour security arrangements. For this, arrangements will be made from the recurrent budget of the Basic Education Department.

Construction work will be done under the supervision of DM

Details of the action plan are also included in the proposals presented before the Chief Minister. In which the implementation process has been mentioned. The District Magistrate will play a major role in this entire project. According to the proposal, in the districts where such schools will be upgraded, the implementation of this scheme will be done under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate and the District Magistrate will also monitor it. Government institutions will be selected and monitored by the District Magistrate for construction works. Equipments like computers, furniture etc. will be purchased from GeM portal by the committee headed by the District Magistrate.
